Safety nets are a form of collective protection for those working at height. Suspended underneath the work area they minimize the height from which a person could fall and the consequences of such a fall. Safety nets are designed to deflect and absorb the energy of a fall, so they reduce the likelihood of a person being injured. Safety nets are probably the most economical, passive collective safety system available

Safety net installation is a specialist service and as such all GMW Netting installers are trained to the highest possible standards. Our installers hold Accredited Safety Net Rigger certification meaning they underwent a rigorous process to ensure their competence in installing, inspecting and derigging netting. We ensure all our personnel receive ongoing professional training and are kept fully informed of the most up to date Health and Safety requirements and HSA best practice.

Our safety nets are manufactured to EN1263/1 and fitted to EN1263/2 standards. Nets are tested every 12 months to ensure they meet or exceed the minimum energy absorption capacity stated by the manufacturer. Every net in service carries an identification tag so that our clients can confirm on site that the nets are compliant, certificates of conformity are held by GMW Netting and are available on request.
